The State Secretary for Parliament Liaison, Public Information and Personnel Welfare, Vasile Costea, chaired the working session of the Central Commission on Social Problems of the Ministry of National Defence that took place at the defence ministry location on 27 March.

During the working session, social malfunctions were presented, as identified and signaled by the military services, while nine medical and social cases were brought to the attention of the commission, for which they decided funds would be allotted by the 'Camarazii' Charity Association of the Romanian Armed Forces and the Land Forces Foundation, \"Saint George the Dragon Slayer\".

The activity was attended by representatives of all central military structures, the 'Camarazii' Charity Association of the Romanian Armed Forces and Land Forces Foundation, \"Saint George the Dragon Slayer\", the 'Alexandru Ioan Cuza' National Association of the Reserve and Retired Military Personnel and the Federation of the Free Union of the Civil Personnel in the Romanian Armed Forces.

The Central Commission on Social Problems of the Ministry of National Defence was established in 2001.
