"Carol I" National Defence University hosts, during 18 and 19 April, the International Scientific Conference on "Strategic Changes in Security and International Relations in the Early 21st Century".

Organized by the Department of Joint Operations, Strategic and Security Studies of the Security and Defence Faculty, the scientific event offers the adequate academic framework for exchanges of ideas, opinions and for communicating the latest research results in the field of security and international relations, the contemporary military phenomenon and other related fields.

The conference proceedings will open in the Marble Hall of the institution, by Lieutenant General Professor Teodor Frunzeti, Commander (Rector) of "Carol I" at 08.50, on Thursday, 18 April.

The event brings together Romanian and foreign scientific researchers, university professors and students (from France, Hungary, Germany, the USA), defence attachees accredited to Bucharest, as well as representatives of international bodies and media.

Journalists interested in participating in the event are invited at "Carol I" National Defence University (the entrance from the monument), between 08.30 and 08.45, on Thursday, 18 April.
