The Commanding General of U.S. Army Europe in Romania

Lieutenant General Donald M. Campbell, Jr., commanding general of U.S. Army Europe, is making an official visit to Romania following the invitation of the chief of Land Forces Staff, Lieutenant General Sorin Ioan, over 17-19 April.

Lieutenant General Donald M. Campbell will award medals to ten Romanian soldiers, who were decorated by US military structures during their participation in missions in Afghanistan, during a ceremony organized at the 1st Dacica Infantry Division, on Friday, April 19, between 9.50-11.00 a.m.

During his visit to Romania, the American official will visit Romanian training facilities and will have office calls with civilian and military personalities of the Defence Ministry Leadership.

The journalists interested in participating in the event are invited at the 1st Dacica Infantry Division Headquarters, in 6-8 Antiaeriana Street, Bucharest, on Friday, April 19, between 9.20 and 9.40 a.m.
