The Day of Military Communications

The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, and the chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Stefan Danila, will participate in the inauguration of the new Museum of Communications and Information Technology organized at the 48th Center of Strategic Communications and Information Technology, in Bucuresti-Ploiesti Route, from 10.00, on Friday 12 July.
The activity takes place on the Day of Military Communications, as on 14 July we celebrate 140 years since the establishment of the Communications and Information Technology branch.

Celebrations will be organized on the following days as well, on Saturday, 13 July and Sunday 14 July, from 10.00 to 14.00, under the logo of the Days of the Museum of Communications and Information Technology. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the museum and exhibition presenting the equipment of the Communications and Information Technology Command and the Deployable Communications and Information Technology Module and to participate in shooting sessions of small caliber weapons and pony riding.

Specialty books and albums on the work of the Communications and Information Technology specialists will be available; visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy military band performance, multimedia communications connections, including the troops in theaters of operations or will be able to participate in historical reconstruction scenes made by associations such as 6 Dorobanti, Traditia Militara or Deutsche Freikorps.
