The Romanian Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, met on Wednesday, 31 July, with the State Secretary for Armaments of the Portuguese Defence Ministry, Major General Manuel de Matos Gravilha Chambel, who undertakes a working visit to Bucharest.

The two officials reviewed the steps made so far for the acquisition of the F-16 multirole aircraft from Portugal.

Minister Mircea Dusa highlighted the efforts made by the Romanian party, presenting the procedural and legislative stages covered by the institutions involved in the acquisition process.
