Landing of Aircraft Returning from Hungary

Aircraft C-27J Spartan of the Romanian Air Force returning with the people injured in the accident that took place in Hungary, will land at the 90th Airlift Flotilla, Otopeni, on Friday, 30 August, at about 23.50.

Aircraft C-27 J Spartan took off from the 90th Airlift Flotilla, Otopeni, on Friday, 30 August, around 15.00, heading for Hungary, with a SMURD medical team onboard, for the assistance of the Romanian citizens involved in the car accident that occurred in the neighboring country.

The mission was approved by Defence Minister Mircea Dusa. The crew consists in pilots, lieutenant commanders Cornel Mladin and Florin Ianculescu, technical staff, WO Iulian Chifan and paramedical staff, Sergeant Dumitru Miu.
