89 militaries with three technical devices that are property of the Ministry of National Defence have been acting since morning, starting from 01.30 am, in Mastacan, Costache Negri and Pechea localities, from Galati County, in order to help the population and limit the effects of the floods produced in that area.
During the night, the militaries of 282nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade-300th Infantry Battalion and 284th Armor Battalion-also acted in Cudalbi locality. The intervention takes place at the request of Galati subprefect.
