Today, on September 13, State Secretary Otilia Sava and the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Stefan Danila, are participating in the wreath laying ceremony organized at the tomb of engineer aviator Aurel Vlaicu, from Bellu Cemetery, Bucharest.

The activity is dedicated to the commemoration of 100 years since the death of Aurel Vlaicu, a pioneer of world aviation.

Another wreath laying ceremony will take place today, at 15.00, at Aurel Vlaicu`s tomb from Banesti, Prahova County. A detachment consisting of an IAR-99 aircraft, three IAR-316 helicopters and 2- IAK-52 aircrafts formation from the Air Force Application School, Boboc, will execute a vertical flight over the monument.
