Starting from Monday morning, 147 militaries from 300th Infantry Battalion and 284th Armor Battalion from Galati have been participating in actions taken to limit the floods` effects and evacuate the local population and goods from the houses of Cudalbi, Costache Negri and Cuca localities.

Up to present, over 900 militaries with over 50 technical devices conducted 37 missions in support of the local population affected by the floods in Galati County.

Also, over 400 militaries from the Land Forces are trained to intervene at the request of the local authorities.
