Two Romanian militaries were injured in Afghanistan on Sunday, around 22:00, Romania`s time, following the deflagration of an improvised explosive device, while executing a patrol mission.

The two militaries were taken to the hospital with a MEDEVAC helicopter. They died around 23:00 (Romania`s time) because of the serious wounds they suffered. The identity of the two militaries will be revealed after having informed their families, according to the procedure in force.
