The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, visited Friday, 11 October, the soldiers hospitalized at the Emergency Hospital in Targu Mures.

Mircea Dusa talked with the families of Corporals Octavian-Stelian Suciu and Iuliu Szasz, whom he reassured of the support of the military so that they could cope with the tragic event as good as possible.

The defence minister also talked with the medical team of the developments in the health state of the two soldiers.

Iuliu Szasz, who was superficially wounded is outside any danger but will stay in hospital under the observation of the doctors in Targu Mures, for another couple of days.

Octavian-Stelian Suciu is in a stabilized state but his medical prognosis is still reserved.

The soldiers of the 814th Tanks Battalion of Turda were injured Wednesday, 9 October during a shooting exercise conducted in Cartisoara firing range, Sibiu County.
