The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, will make a visit in the USA, on 17 and 18 October.

On 17 October the Romanian defence minister will participate in the meeting on \"The stage of bilateral US-Romanian bilateral programs\" organized by the Atlantic Council.

On 18 October the defence minister will meet with US Secretary of Defense, Charles Timothy Hagel. On the same day the minister is scheduled to meet Buck McKeon, chairman of the House Committee on armed Services of the US House of Representatives and Mike Rogers, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

The meeting agenda of 18 October includes Frank Rose, U.S Deputy Assistant Secretary for Defense Policy and Verification Operations.
