Lieutenant General Stefan Danila, chief of General Staff, participates in the EU Military Committee meeting at the level of Chiefs of Defence (ChoDs), in Brussels, on 12 November 2013.

The agenda includes EU-led operations and missions and the preparations for the European Council meeting to take place in December this year.

The chief of General Staff will reiterate the support given to maintaining security and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the comprehensive approach to the Horn of Africa crisis and the security in the area, in Sahel Niger, of EUNAVFOR mission in Atalanta, and the training of the Somali and Mali armed forces.

Also, Lieutenant General Stefan Danila will sustain the propositions to increase efficiency, visibility and impact of the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) to develop military capabilities.
