The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, had a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq, Saleh al Mutlaq, at the defence ministry headquarters, today, 21 November.

The agenda included talks on military cooperation, when the Romanian defence minister reiterated our willingness to continue supporting personnel training.

On this occasion, Minister Mircea Dusa launched the invitation that the Iraqi defence minister visit Romania next year, when the Agreement on military cooperation between the Romanian Government and the Iraqi Government will be signed.

The defence minister said that Romania is in favor of identifying, together with representatives of the national defence industry, products and systems that the Romanian industry can deliver to Iraq.
