The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, participated in the ceremonies for the taking over of the command of the National Defence University and the Central Military Emergency Hospital in Bucharest, on Tuesday, 4 February.

The new commander (Rector) of the National Defence University is Air Flotilla General and Professor Gabriel-Florin Moisescu, Ph.D., former commander of the Air Force Academy of Brasov. Present at the ceremony, minister Dusa reiterated the fact that the National Defence University is an elite military institution that should keep up its standards. The defence minister wished the best to the new commander, reassuring him of the defence leadership support of the university activities.

Military doctor, Colonel Florentina Ionita, chief of Gastroenterology section, took over the command of the Central Military Emergency Hospital. The defence minister used the opportunity to reassure the new leadership that he will continue to focus on the modernization programs and priority list and that he was sure the medical care system goes through a development and improvement period.
