The Emergency Military Hospital "Dr. Carol Davila" conducts, starting 12 March, a medical project (CERTPATUM) that is co-financed by the European Fund for Regional Development.

The total value of the project is 20 Million lei, financed with European funds.

The project will take 18 months to implement in the Clinical Orthopedics and Traumatology Section of the Emergency Military Hospital. It is meant to improve the R&D methods to diagnose and treat patients with abdominal, pelvic and adjacent tumors. The project will bring a long-term improvement of the patients` quality of life, by granting their access to specialized and qualified care by means of high level material infrastructure, logistics and human resources.
