The Romanian Government launched the second edition of the Internship Program for the Central Public Administration at the initiative of Prime Minister Victor Ponta.

As with the previous editions, form 15 July to 15 September, the selected candidates will participate in activities conducted by the Prime Minister’s office and the General Secretariat of the Government. A novelty of this year’s program is that it will include all ministers and departments of the Executive. Students and graduates will have the opportunity to choose from over 170 available internship positions.

Candidates should meet the following general criteria: to be Romanian citizens, to be up to 24 years old at the date the program starts (15 July 2014), to be students or recent graduates of a university, to be fluent in at least one world language and to have basic computer skills. Each ministry and department will add other specific requirements to these criteria.

Applications should be submitted exclusively online, no later than 31 May. Additional information can be found on the official page of the Internship Program, namely http://internship.gov.ro.
