Meeting of NATO allied and partner SOF Commanders in Bucharest

The Minister of National Defence Mircea Dusa opened the conference of the NATO allied and partner Special Operations Forces Commanders that takes place in Bucharest, with the message that the special operations forces of the Romanian Armed Forces are a modern and reliable elite corps, trained at the highest standards in the field.

Specific missions and military training are important elements for the sustained Alliance effort to stay effective.

Minister Dusa thanked NATO Special Operations Headquarters (NSHQ) for the continuous support provided to Romania since 2007.

'This type of forum provides the optimum setting for an exchange of ideas and for identifying the solutions to the current geopolitical issues,' the defence minister said.
