The Centre for Defence and Security Strategic Studies of 'Carol I' National Defence University organizes the international seminar Romania – 10 years of NATO membership. Adaptation process and contributions to the Alliance modernisation on Thursday, 27 March, starting with 09.00.

Discussions will focus both on the transformation process of the Romanian Armed Forces with a view to their full NATO integration – Horizon 2015 and on fulfilling the responsibilities deriving from our country`s role as a NATO member.

The seminar offers the proper academic framework for exchanges of ideas and expressing points of view, while bringing together representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Romanian Intelligence Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Guard and Protection Service, EURISC Foundation, the Bulgarian G.S. Rakovski National Defence University, NGOs, education and research staff of military and civilian institutions.

Journalists interested in participating in the event are expected to arrive at the main gate of the 'Carol I' National Defence University (the entrance next to the monument), between 08.45 - 09.00, on Thursday, 27 March.
