A military delegation headed by dr. Mihail Popescu, chief General Staff of the Romanian Armed Forces pay an official visit between April 20 and 22,03 in Turkey invited by his counterpart General Hilmi Ozkok, chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces.

General Dr. Mihail Popescu will be received by Ahmet Necdet Sezer, President of Republic of Turkey and by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of the Turkish Government and will transmit them messages from Ion Iliescu, President of Romania and from Adrian Nastase, Prime Minister of the Romanian Government.

The Romanian military delegation will have a series of official talks at General Staff HQ and will visit military objectives and units of the Turkish Armed Forces.

The issues of the talks will be focused on stage of the bilateral military relations and each state military implication in securing peace and security in the region.
