The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, salutes the official announcement made by Chuck Hagel, the United States Secretary of Defense, on including Romania in his 14th world tour since the beginning of his mandate. Chuck Hagel will come to Romania at the invitation of the defence minister, made during the latter`s official visit in Washington DC, in October 2013.

The Pentagon leader`s presence in Romania marks an important moment in the evolution of military bilateral relations of the two armed forces, highlighting new courses of action in the field of military cooperation and will bring new development opportunities for the Strategic Partnership between Romania and the United.
