The Meeting of the Minister of National Defence with the Ambassador of Canada to Bucharest, Mrs. Joanne Lemay

The presence of Canadian CF-18 fighter at Campia Turzii stands proof of the solid cooperation relations between Canada and Romania, while the military partnership between the two countries goes on. This has emerged as a result of today's meeting, of May 27, between the Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa and the Canadian Ambassador to Bucharest, Joanne Lemay.

In the context of the joint military exercises, the Minister of National Defence said that 'Dacian Flag 2014 helps strengthening NATO’s position as well as developing interoperability between military forces of our countries'.

In turn, Joanne Lemay thanked Minister Mircea Dusa for the prompt response of the Romanian authorities with regard to starting the military exercises, saying that the two countries will strengthen the already existing bilateral relations through new opportunities of development.
