Valeriu Nicut, State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning and Chairman of the Political Military Steering Committee (PMSC) of the Multinational Peace Force South Eastern Europe (MPFSEE) and of the South Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial Coordination Committee (SEDM-CC), coordinated the Deputy Joint Chiefs of Staffs' Reunion from SEDM Countries on Wednesday, June 11, at Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.

According to the provisions of the Additional Protocol to the MPFSEE Agreement, Romania took over the chairmanship from Italy in 2013; the chairmanship mandate is valid until July, 2015.

The reunion agenda included topics such as the analysis of the projects developed within the initiative, with focus on the practical methods of employing the SEEBRIG, establishing the details for the rotational calendar of the main MPFSEE positions and Georgia's accession stages to SEDM initiative.
