The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, approved the humanitarian flight of three people who were badly wounded in an explosion, taking them from Satu Mare to Bucharest on Monday night.

They would be transported with a C-27J Spartan military aircraft, under the care of a SMURD medical team. The mission was approved following the request of State Secretary Raed Arafat, chief of the Department for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of the Interior.

The crew of the C-27J Spartan aircraft, under the command of Captain Commander Emil Tecuceanu, comes from the 90th Airlift Base.
