The schedule of the defence minister for Tuesday, 16 September

Defence minister, Mircea Dusa, will receive Mihai-Valentin Mancas, student of 'Sfantul Sava' National College, Bucharest, the winner of the project 'Minister for a day', at the MoND Headquarters, at 8.00 am.
During the day, Mihai-Valentin Mancas will visit 265 Military Police Battalion and the Military Technical Academy.
Journalists willing to attend the meeting held at the MoND Headquarters must come between 7.30 - 7.50 am at Check Point no.3, the entrance next to the Marriot Hotel.

Starting with 13.00, minister Dusa will participate in the inauguration of Ghencea sports club 'Steaua Olympic Gymnastics Centre' as part of the national project entitled 'The Reborn of the Romanian Gymnastics'.
30 sports gymnasts were selected for this project; the gymnasts were provided housing, training and designated spaces where they could study and spend their free time. The inauguration will be followed by the visitation of the center and a demonstrative show performed by the Steaua Club gymnasts.
Journalists willing to attend the activity will be awaited between 12.30 - 12.50, at Ghencea sports club headquarters (Ghencea Avenue no. 45, District 6).

Mircea Dusa will take part in the varnishing of the exhibition '70 years since the battles led for the liberation of the national territory (23 August-25 October, 1944)' today, at 15.00, at the Parliament Palace.
The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of National Defence together with the Senate of Romania; the exhibition will display over 200 items, among which pieces of armament, decorations, combat colors, books, photos and will be open through 16 September-31 October.
Also, the Ministry of National Defence, through the Directorate for personnel`s life quality, launches the project 'The solidarity fund for war veterans\" at the exhibition varnishing, with the view of supporting the war-veterans, their widows and the disabled people as well as the injured people and the successors of the deceased military personnel who participated in military operations who are facing medical and social issues.
