The Soldiers Who Lost Their Lives in the Aviation Accident of Sibiu County

The eight soldiers who lost their lives in the aviation accident of Friday, November 21, are Commander Artur-Grigore Palfi, 46 years old, married, with one child, doctor Rares-Cosmin Moldovan, Captain, 34 years old, one child, Captain Razvan-Aurel Moldovan, 29 years old, married, 2nd Lieutenant Andrei-Catalin Apostol, 25 years old, not married, WO 1st Class Paul Badescu, 41 ani, not married, WO 2nd Class Dorin Fodor, 43 years old, married, with two children, WO 3rd Class Vasile-Marian Gadalean, 33 years old, not married, with one child, WO 3rd Class Constantin-Dorin Filip, 30 years old, not married.

The two wounded soldiers, Captain Commander Corneliu-Gabriel Titiana, 47 years old and WO 1st Class Valentin Bora, 41 years old, were taken over by SMURD teams and are in hospital, in a stable condition.

The leadership of the Ministry of National Defence expresses deep sorrow at the loss of life and is beside the grieving families.
The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, is permanently updated on the situation of the two wounded soldiers.

Eight soldiers lost their lives and two others were wounded after an IAR-330 PUMA crashed in the area of Malancrav locality, Sibiu County, around 10.40 hrs., on Friday, November 21.

The helicopter of the 71st Air Base in Campia Turzii, was going to participate in an exercise at Cincu firing range.
