Military Parade on the National Day at Bucharest

Over 2,700 troops and 280 vehicles of the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Romanian Intelligence Service and the Guard and Protection Service will participate in the military parade organized in Constitutiei Square, in Bucharest, at 11.00 hrs., on December 1, the National Day of Romania.

Side by side with the Romanian troops there will be military detachments from France, Poland, Republic of Moldova, Turkey and the USA.

Another military wreath-laying ceremony will be organized in Bucharest at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, in Carol I Park, at 08.00 hrs., on Monday.

From 18.00 hrs., the troops of the 30th 'Mihai Viteazul' Guard regiment will retreat with torches on a route starting at the Palace of the National Military Club - Regina Elisabeta Blvd.- Eroilor Sanitari Blvd.- Cotroceni Highway- Iuliu Maniu Blvd.- Vasile Milea Blvd.- Timisoara Blvd.
Military and religious wreath-laying ceremonies will be organized in garrisons across the country where there are military units.

On the National Day, the National Colors will be hoisted in all military institutions across the country while maritime and river ships and boats of the Navy will be fully dressed.

Journalists intending to watch the military parade in Constitutiei Square will have access from Libertatii Blvd., coming from Splaiul Independentei, by 10.00 hrs.

A final rehearsal will be made in Constitutiei Square (Libertatii Blvd.,) on Saturday, November 29, at 08.00 hrs.

Journalists intending to watch the rehearsal are expected to arrive in Constitutiei Square, at 10.00, where they can get their access badges.
