NATO Crisis Management Exercise - CMX 15 takes place over 4 - 10 March in the capital cities of the Alliance. It is planned and organized at national level by the National Military Command Center of the General Staff.

Romania's National Response Structure organized at the Ministry of National Defence includes representatives of other government agencies and institutions of the national defence, public order and national security system.

Exercises of CMX-type are coordinated by the North Atlantic Council with the aim to practice the consultation and joint decision making process at the allied political and military level and the interaction with NATO's command structure, in the context of the asymmetrical threats and cyber attacks.

At national level, planners intend to simulate the procedures of decision preparation at political and military level and training the National Response Structure of Romania according to the standards of NATO Crisis response System.
