From 16 to 26 March, the 71st Air Base in Campia Turzii will host the bilateral US-Romanian exercise DACIAN WARHAWK.

The exercise involves some 200 Romanian troops, pilots and technical staff, six MiG-21 LanceR aircraft and four IAR-330 (SOCAT and MEDEVAC) helicopters of the 71st Air Base, about 250 US troops, six F-16 aircraft and the pertaining technical equipment of the USAF Europe.

The flights carried out together with the American partner aim at practicing the tactics, techniques and standard procedures associated with air operations, in order to increase interoperability and capability for joint operations.
