The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, will meet on Tuesday, March 24,at 12.30., with the Romanian and American troops participating in the 1st stage ofthe multinational exercise SABER JUNCTION 15, conducted in Smardan firingrange, Galati County.

The 1st stage of the multinational exercise SABER JUNCTION 15 - Early Entry is anairborne operation involving structures from the US 173rd Airborne Brigade andthe 2nd Cavalry Regiment, together with Romanian forces of the 282nd MechanizedBrigade. SABER JUNCTION 15 will be conducted in Smardan firing range in April with theparticipation of over two thousand troops from Great Britain, Republic ofMoldova, Romania and the USA.
