The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, makes an official visit in the Republic of Georgia over 5 and 6 April, at the invitation of his counterpart, Mr. Mindia Janelidze.

While in Tbilisi, the Romanian defence minister will have talks with the Georgian defence, will lay wreath at the Monument in Heroes' Square and will meet with other Georgian high officials.

The visit of minister Dusa represents an opportunity to discuss issues of common interest for the two countries, as cooperation with Georgia is a priority for Romania.

During his meetings, the defence minister will speak of Romania`s endorsement of Georgia's Euro-Atlantic endeavor.
