The Land Forces Staff organizes public events dedicated to the Day of the Land Forces, over April 18 to 23. On Wednesday, April 22, from 10.00 hrs., wreath-laying ceremonies will take place at Monument of the military heroes who fell on duty in theaters of operations or at home, in front of Palatul National al Copiilor [Children's national park] in Tineretului Park while the Combat Colors of the Land Forces Staff will be decorated with Order Military Virtue, knight rank, with military insignia.

In Carol I Park, on Wednesday, from 14.00 to 18.00, an exhibition will be organized of military equipment, armament, technique that is usually used either during the training activities and theaters of operations. Drills will be presented by engineers while the 30th 'Mihai Viteazul' Guard regiment will perform a drill-team. Military students and pupils will present the educational offer and the selection process for the Land Forces institutions.

Beside the Romanian troops there will be representatives of the 2nd Battalion of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment of the American Army who are in Romania for exercise WIND SPRING.

On Thursday, April 23, from 20.00 to 22.00, a retreat with torches will be organized on the route going from National Military Club National Opera House Cotroceni Palace Land Forces Staff HQ.
