A C-27J Spartan aircraft of the Romanian Air Force, configured for MEDEVAC missions, carried out a humanitarian mission on Saturday night, May 8 to 9, on the emergency route Otopeni Cluj-Napoca Otopeni, for the transport of two children who suffered injuries by burning.

The patients were assisted during the flight by a SMURD medical team, as well as doctor Maj. Dragos Tudose, and paramedic Sgt. Dumitru Miu, from the 90th Airlift Base.

The mission was carried out at the request of the Department for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The flight crew was made up by Lieutenant Commander Ovidiu Dragomir, Lieutenant Claudia Voicu and WO Ovidiu Lupu.
