The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, and the chief of General Staff Lieutenant General, Nicolae Ciuca, will attend the Distinguished Visitors' Day of tactical exercise SEEBA 15 at Babadag firing range, at 11.00 hrs., on Thursday, May 14.


During the exercise, an assessment will made of the structures pertaining to the 9th 'Marasesti' Mechanized Brigade at the disposal of SEEBRIG. The exercise is conducted at the Training, Simulation and Assessment Center in Constanta and at Babadag firing range, over May 10 to 15.

Also on Thursday, the two officials will attend, from 16.00 hrs., the ceremony organized at the George Baritiu County Library in Brasov to welcome the US and Romanian soldiers participating in Marsul Cavaleriei/Cavalry March.

About 400 U.S. troopers with over 80 technical means take part in the march that starts in
Mihail Kogalniceanu (Constanta), where they conducted exercise 'Wind Spring 15', to finish in Cincu (Brasov), where they will participate in exercise 'Sarmis 15'.
