The Combat Training Center of the Land Forces in Cincu, Brasov, hosts the training exercise with live simulation and firing, SARMIS-15, conducted over May 15 to June 6.

SARMIS-15, as part of a series of common training activities, conducted both at home and abroad within Atlantic Resolve operation, is a joint multinational exercise involving 1,500 troops and about 200 military equipment from Canada, Great Britain, Romania and the USA.

The Romanian Land Forces participate with personnel of the 2nd Infantry Division and the 2nd Mountain Brigade, supported by troops and technique of the Romanian Air Force.

The U.S. troopers of the 2nd Battalion of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment participating in the exercise, travelled from Mihail Kogalniceanu (Constanta) to Cincu (Brasov) within the Cavalry March, on May 13 and 14.
