The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, and the chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Nicolae Ciuca, will be present at exercises TRIDENT JOUST 15 and RESOLUTE CASTLE 15, at Cincu firing range, Brasov County, at 10.00, Monday, June 22. The two officials will assess how the responsibilities of the host nation in support of the two exercises were accomplished.

Over 1,000 personnel from 25 NATO countries participate in Exercise TRIDENT JOUST 15, over 17 to 28 June. During this exercise, structures of an Allied Joint Force Command will be deployed in Romania for the first time; also a first will be the simulation of the command and control transfer of the NATO Response Force to a temporary location, in Romania.
Over 200 troops and military technique of Land Forces Engineers participate in the Romanian American Exercise RESOLUTE CASTLE 15, over June 16 to September 15. The exercise is conducted jointly with the 877th Engineer Battalion of the National Guard of Alabama State.
