The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, will watch the practical activity conducted during Exercise Histria 15, in Cincu Firing Range, Brasov County, on Friday, September 18.

Over 1,200 troops and about 300 military vehicles from the 81st ,,General Grigore Balan Mechanized Brigade, the 69th ,,Silvania Mixed Artillery Regiment and the 71st ,,General Emanoil Ionescu Air Base will train during the practical stage Defence operation for the containment of the enemy's penetration of the national territory.

During the exercise the troops will employ armored carriers, tanks, air defence systems, transport and logistic vehicles, MiG 21 LanceR, IAR-330 Puma Socat and IAR-330 Puma configured for MEDEVAC operations.

Media representatives are expected at the entrance of the Getica Land Forces Combat Training Center in Cincu.

About 7,000 personnel from the institutions in the Defence, Public Order and National Security System and 800 vehicles will participate in the inter-institutional, strategic level exercise, HISTRIA 15, conducted on the national territory, over September 7 to 18.
