Corporal 3rd Class Ion Ichim was released from hospital and returned to his military unit at the military base in Kandahar.

Lieutenant Adrian Ciprian Iriciuc and Corporal 3rd Class Sergiu Andrei Lineschi are in a stable condition but still hospitalized, under evaluation and medical treatment. According to the results of the evaluation, the medical team from the military hospital in Kandahar will decide the course of action (continuing treatment in Kandahar or evacuation to the military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany).

The three soldiers, who are part of the Dragonii Transilvani Force Protection of the 811th Infantry Battalion, were wounded by the explosion of a car bomb, around 10.00 hrs., on Sunday, September 20, while on a patrol mission in the proximity of the military base in Kandahar.

The leadership of the defence ministry is permanently updated on the heath condition of the wounded soldiers.
