The second reunion at experts level of the working group ''Defense/Military Support to WMD Counter Proliferation, Border Security and Counter Terrorism - CBSC WG is organized under the aegis of the process of SEDM reunion between May 6 and 9, 03 at Majestic Hotel in Bucharest.

The initiative on WMD counter proliferation, border security and counter terrorism was launched in Antalya (Turkey) in December 2001 by the Defense ministers of SEDM countries. This project is part of SEDM contribution to the international efforts in countering new risks on security.

The discussions of the second reunion of the working group will be for increasing the cooperation on the above mentioned domains and the respective activities on short and medium term.
