A delegation of the Ministry of National Defence headed by Valeriu Nicut, State Secretary for the Defence Policy and Planning, participated in the Ministers of Defence Meeting, held in Berlin on November 23, 2015, of the nations that are militarily committed to RESOLUTE SUPPORT mission in northern Afghanistan.

The meeting chaired by the German defence minister, Ursula von der Leyen, took place in the context of the allied planning process of RESOLUTE SUPPORT mission in 2016.

The Romanian dignitary reiterated the active support of our country for RESOLUTE SUPPORT in 2016, in agreement with the decision of the USA and the other allies to continue participating in NATO's efforts to stabilize Afghanistan.
