The chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Nicolae Ciuca, received the chief of the General Staff of Serbian Armed Forces, General Ljubi¹a Dikoviae, on Wednesday, November 25, during the latter's visit in Romania.

The main topics discussed during the meeting included the security situation of the Balkans, bilateral cooperation among Land and Air Forces and the good cooperation among the training centers of combat units in Cincu and Bujanovac.

Lieutenant General Ciuca highlighted the long history of cooperation between the two armed forces and said Romania is willing to continue the cooperation along the same lines.

In this context, it was highlighted the progress made in military education, mainly in NCO's education and training and the common projects developed at the level of the Air Force. In this respect Lieutenant General Nicolae Ciuca stressed the importance of continuing bilateral exercise AIR SOLUTION, conducted in Serbia as well as Romania, as it increases operational exoerience of both parts and their aviation personnel.
