Military Parade in Bucharest on the occasion of the National Day’s Celebration

More than 2,600 troops and defence agencies professionals with 360 military vehicles and weapon systems from the Ministry of National Defence, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Romanian Intelligence Service, Protection and Guard Service, Special Telecommunications Service, National Administration of the Penitentiaries and Local Police of Bucharest will take part in the military parade organized on Tuesday, 1st of December, starting with 11:00 hrs (local time), in the Constitution Square, in Bucharest, on the occasion of the celebration of the Romania’s National Day.
Military detachments from Bulgaria, Poland, Republic of Moldova, United States of America and Turkey will join the Romanian troops in this military parade.
A wreath-laying ceremony will be also organized in Bucharest, at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, in “Carol I” Park, starting with 08.00 hrs (local time).
Military and religious ceremonies will also be organised in garrisons all over the country where military units are deployed.
On the occasion of the National Day, the three-coloured flag will be hoisted by all military units and the maritime and river ships of the Naval Forces will be fully dressed.
The general rehearsal of the military parade will take place on Sunday, November 29, in the Constitution Square (The Boulevard “Libertatii”), starting with 11:00 hrs (local time).

The media access to the military parade from the Constitution Square will take place such as follows:

- As for the TV and radio cars, the access will be allowed on Monday, November 30, from 15:00 to 21:00 hrs (local time) or, on Tuesday, 1st of December, from 06:00 to 07:00 hrs (local time), through the Boulevard “13 Septembrie”, Boulevard “Libertatii”.
- The journalists’ access will be allowed through the Boulevard “Natiunile Unite”, and the Boulevard “Libertatii”, until 09:30 hrs (local time).

The media representatives willing to attend the general rehearsal will be waited on Sunday, November 29, from 10:00 to 11:00 hrs, in the Constitution Square. On this occasion, the media access badges for the military parade will be available.
The TV and radio cars access to the Constitution Square will be allowed through the Boulevard “13 Septembrie” and Boulevard “Libertatii”, at 10:00 hrs (local time).

Using Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) over the places hosting ceremonies dedicated to the celebration of the National Day is forbidden according to the stipulations of the article 12 of Government Ordinance No. 912/2010.
