The Gala Concert for Veterans of the Romanian Armed Forces under the title Sacrificiul impune Respect [Sacrifice calls for respect], organized by the Ministry of National Defence together with the Ministry of Culture will take place at the National Opera House of Bucharest, at 19.30, on Monday, December 14.

The concert, directed by Cristian Mihailescu, will be presented by Octavian Ursulescu and will bring together performers such as violonist Eugen Sarbu, pianist Carmina Sarbu, Madrigal Choir (conductor Anna Ungureanu), the Representative Music Band of the Ministry of National Defence, Comic Opera for Children, actor Dan Puric and Pan flute player Nicolae Voiculet. The show is dedicated to war veterans, veterans and families of soldiers who died in theaters of operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Western Balkans.

The event is one of the series of shows marking the Year 2015 - Year of War Veterans, as an opportunity to increase social cohesion for a project on the respect for the fundamental values of the state and the Romanian Armed Forces, military profession and the veterans of the nations.
