The ceremony to mark the departure of 2nd Infantry Battalion Calugareni to Afghanistan will take place on Thursday, January 28th, starting from 11.00 am, at the unit headquarters, Bucharest.

After a four-month training period, the soldiers are ready to participate in NATO Resolute Support Mission to provide for the force protection of Kandahar military base and offer counselling to the Afghan security forces.
