The Minister of National Defence, Mihnea Motoc, received H.E. Ramiro Fernandez Bachiller, the Ambassador of Spain to Bucharest, at the defence ministry, on Thursday, January 28.

The officials discussed the security developments in the Euro-Atlantic space and bilateral cooperation that follows an ascending course. Minister Motoc appreciated the Spanish contribution to manning NFIU and MND-SE HQ.

The two officials talked of the interest in developing the relations between Romania and the Kingdom of Spain in terms of defence and identifying new ways of cooperation at bilateral level and within the Euro-Atrlantic structures.
