A C-27J Spartan aircraft of the Romanian Air Force configured for medevac missions carried out an emergency humanitarian flight on the Otopeni - Iasi - Tirgu Mures - Otopeni route, Thursday, February 4.

The humaniatrian mission carried out at the request of the Ministry of Health and the Department for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs consisted in transporting a medical team and a human heart from Iasi to Tirgu Mures.

The military aircraft took off from the 90th Airlift Base of Otopeni, at about 06.30 hrs. and landed in Tirgu Mures at about 09.40 hrs.

The aircraft was flown by a crew having Lieutenant Commander Florin Ianculescu pilot, Captain Daniel Motoroiu co-pilot, WO Maftei THebrean loadmaster.
