The Minister of National Defence, Mihnea Motoc, received H.E. Kisaburo Ishii, the Ambassador of Japan to Bucharest, at the defence ministry, Monday, February 8.

The talks focused on the perspectives of developing the bilateral dialogue in the field of defence and security and a partnership-based cooperation between Japan and NATO and EU respectively. The two officials evaluated the opportunities to strengthen the relations between Romania and Japan, in the security context of the Euro-Atlantic region.
