The Minister of National Defence, Mihnea Motoc, received H.E. Saker Malkawi, the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Romania, at the defence ministry, on Monday, February 22.

During the meeting, the two officials analyzed the perspectives of defence cooperation at bilateral, EU and NATO level.

The defence minister expressed his appreciation for the significant contribution of Jordan to regional security and stability and emphasized, in this context, that Romania endorses the allied effort to implement the Defence Capacity Building- DCB, dedicated to Jordan.

Ambassador Saker Malkawi talked of the 11th edition of The Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX), that would take place in Amman, over 9 to 12 May.
