A detachment of 25 specialists in communication and informatics headed by Colonel Ion Marin will participate between May 7 and 21, 03 to the ninth edition of "Combined Endeavor 2003'' exercise of interoperability of systems of communication and informatics organized in Baumholder, Germany.

The aim of this exercise is to test the interoperability of the own systems of communication and informatics. Representatives of 40 NATO members and PfP states will participate to this exercise. For the Romanian military this is an opportunity for testing within a multinational frame the transmissions special vehicles and the equipment of data technology recently procured.

Brigade General Dr Cristea Dumitru, chief of Department for Communication and Informatics will participate to the "Day of Distinguished Guests'' organized in the last day of this exercise.
