The Minister of National Defence, Mihnea Motoc, will promote to Second Lieutenant (postmortem) Sergeant First Class Dumitrescu Iulian and Sergeant Vizireanu Adrian who lost their lives while performing a mission in the theater of operations from Afghanistan.

VeteRUN - Cupa Steaua War Veterans' Marathon, scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 8th, at 11.00, was postponed to a later date.

On Monday, May 9th, at 8.00, military and religious ceremonies commemorating the death of the two soldiers will be organized in all military units located in the country and abroad.
